Marty Voyt is Vince's friend, a former police detective. When the police force becomes part of Ark Industries Marty convinces Vince to become a private detective under Peter Fleming. Under fear that Fleming will harm his family, Marty helps Fleming frame Vince as Chess.
In the episode "Goggles and Hicks": Marty is named the new Chief of Police for ARK by Fleming.
